Summer camp is coming back to Seven Mountains Scout Camp in 2027, with three weeks of camping, advancement, outdoor adventure, and time on the mountain.
Scouts BSA campers will have two regular summer camp sessions to choose from, along with a special merit badge camp for Scouts looking to focus on advancement.
2027 Camp Dates
- Scouts BSA Week 1 – July 4–10, 2027
- Scouts BSA Week 2 – July 11–17, 2027
- Special Merit Badge Camp – July 18–22, 2027
Program & Merit Badges
The 2027 program includes a wide variety of merit badge opportunities, with offerings ranging from American Labor, Archery, Camping, Citizenship, Communications, Cooking, First Aid, Fishing, Forestry, Geocaching, Hiking, Kayaking, Leatherwork, Music, Orienteering, Pioneering, Plant Science, Robotics, Shooting, Sustainability, Swimming, Theatre, Weather, Welding, Wilderness Survival, and Woodwork, among others.
Specialty offerings will also include Cowboy Action Shooting, Cybersecurity, Farm Mechanics, Fly Fishing, Golf, Horsemanship, Landscape Architecture, Law, Mining in Society, Motorboating, Nuclear Science, Radio, Railroading, Surveying, and Veterinary Medicine.
Whether a Scout is working toward completing requirements, trying a new activity, or simply looking for a week of outdoor adventure, summer camp is an important part of the Scouting experience.

Registration is available through the Juniata Valley Council’s online registration system:
- Register for Week 1 (July 4–10, 2027)
