The wonders of the sea are coming to Seven Mountains Scout Camp, as the Juniata Valley Council, Scouting America, prepares for its 2027 Cub Scout Camp season: “Wonders of the Sea.”
With an ocean-inspired theme, the 2027 program promises young Scouts an exciting mix of outdoor adventure, hands-on activities, and opportunities to discover the world around them. From swimming and boating to archery and marine-themed STEM activities, Cub Scouts and their families will have plenty of opportunities to make memories at camp.
Three camp options will be available in 2027 to accommodate different schedules and camping experiences:
- Cub Resident Camp: June 26–30, 2027
- Cub Day Camp: June 27–30, 2027
- Cub Scout Family Camp: June 27–29, 2027
Activities planned for the camp season include swimming, BB guns, archery, beach party crafts, field games, sea exploration, marine STEM activities, and boating. Additional activities will round out the program, offering Scouts opportunities to try new skills, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the fun and fellowship that make summer camp special.
Located at 227 Sand Mountain Road in Spring Mills, Seven Mountains Scout Camp provides a setting where young people can explore, learn, and grow through the Scouting program. The 2027 “Wonders of the Sea” theme adds a splash of ocean adventure to the camp experience, encouraging Cub Scouts to discover new interests while building confidence and friendships.
