SUMMARY:Hammer Crew
DESCRIPTION:As the colder weather settles in\, our Hammer Days continue at Seven Mountains Scout Camp! Some projects will depend on the weather\, so please dress appropriately for working outdoors. \nPotential Projects\nHere are a few projects we may tackle this week: \n\nFinish the Three-Season Shower House: We’re getting close to finishing the shower house\, with metal panels and trim remaining. The materials are on-site\, but cold morning temperatures may delay this work until later in the day.\nMove and Stack Firewood: Following Saturday’s service day\, we have firewood that needs to be moved into the storage room next to the shop. We’ll use the skid loader to bring the wood to the shop and then move it inside to keep the wood furnace supplied.\nOrganize the Storage Building: Help sort and organize plumbing\, electrical\, and other materials in the large storage building.\nOther Projects: We’ll stay flexible in case additional projects come up.\n\nWorkday Details\n\nMeet: Around 8:30 AM in the dining hall\nLunch: Bring your own lunch and water\nWrap-up: Approximately 3:00 PM\n\nWe’ll decide which projects to tackle based on the weather and the number of volunteers who join us that day. \nRegister for Hammer Day\nPlanning to join us? Please register using the link below so we can plan accordingly. \nRegister for Hammer Day \nThanks for continuing to give your time and effort to keep Seven Mountains Scout Camp in great shape. See you on the mountain!
