The Juniata Valley Council, Scouting America, held its annual Good Scout Dinner on October 1 at the Wyndham Garden Conference Center in State College, bringing together Scouting supporters and community leaders to celebrate the impact of Scouting throughout the region.

A highlight of this year’s dinner was the presentation of the Joseph and Suzanne Paterno Community Impact Award to Matt and Tiffany Stuckey.

The award recognizes individuals whose leadership, service and commitment have made a meaningful difference in their communities. The Stuckeys have been active in supporting youth, education and community organizations throughout the region.

The Good Scout Dinner is an important annual event for the Juniata Valley Council, helping raise support for Scouting programs serving young people throughout the council’s five-county area, including the programs and outdoor experiences offered at Seven Mountains Scout Camp.
